The Trentham 10k - formerly the John Oultram - is one of the oldest races in the area, and 2016 was the 42nd year for the race. As in 2016, the 2017 race will again be run as a 10K race.
The race starts in the village of Tittensor, and is a 1 lap course that follows the road uphill past Beech Caves, before joining the main road for a short time and then turning left, back towards Tittensor. Despite the hilly course, the race is very popular and regularly attracts around 300 runners. In 2017 it is again a race in the NSRRA series.
Route update; Due to the overrunning roadworks at the top of Winghouse Lane/ A51 junction we are unable to use the previous route. The new route for 2017 can be found HERE.
